Now it’s time for me to post something useful. Yahoo has just released the new breed of messenger. Use Yahoo! Messenger to call and talk over the Internet just like you’re on the phone. All you need is a headset, or a microphone and speakers. It’s that easy – just click the Call button. If no one’s there, leave a voicemail! You can also get much better sound quality than regular phone lines. Try it out – you and your friends will really hear a difference.Find, add, share friends… It’s easier than ever to add and invite friends to Messenger. You can even send your contact information to a friend’s Address Book.

… and then Yahoo integrated its YM client into its All New Yahoo, and the erstwhile dormant booters community came back to life…
Go to some chat rooms in Philippines, Pinoy-Chat, and you’ll see what I mean. I’ve used to be a Yahoo booter for 4 friggin years.
To give you a perspective, the new YM client asks for captcha everytime you join a chatroom. However, this captcha will be circumvented when using a third party client that authenticates via yahoo mail. How’s that for security?
And the YM ad bots continue to pester my offlines…. the f**kers…
